1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the BibleShep application (hereinafter, "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
BibleShep is a Bible app that offers guided reading plans, daily devotionals, and tools for Scripture study. It is a non-profit Christian ministry, distributed free of charge.
3. Acceptable use
By using BibleShep you agree to:
- Use the App solely for personal, spiritual, and non-commercial purposes.
- Not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialize the App's content without written authorization.
- Not attempt to decompile, modify, or reverse-engineer the software.
- Not use the App in any way that violates Bolivian or applicable international law.
4. Intellectual property
All original content in BibleShep — including reflections, devotionals, reading plans, and design — is the property of SHEMA YISRAEL SRL and is protected by the intellectual property laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia and applicable international conventions.
Bible texts included in the App belong to their respective rights holders and are used in accordance with each translation's license terms.
5. Third-party content
The App may include Bible verses from licensed translations (NIV, ESV, NVI, RVR1960, and others). Each translation is subject to its own terms of use. BibleShep does not claim ownership over those texts.
6. Donations
Donations made through the App are voluntary and non-refundable. They are used exclusively for the maintenance, development, and free distribution of BibleShep. They do not constitute a purchase of goods or services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
BibleShep is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Bolivian law, SHEMA YISRAEL SRL shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the App. Continued use of BibleShep after changes are posted implies acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Any dispute arising from the use of the App shall be submitted to the competent courts of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, unless applicable law requires another jurisdiction.
